Can I receive help online?

No, Mindful Care is not a 24/7 facility. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 7 PM, with limited weekend availability. We offer same-day and next-day psychiatric appointments and strive to make care accessible quickly and efficiently.

What happens during my first appointment with Mindful Care?

Your first visit sets the foundation for your personalized care plan. If you’re seeking therapy, the appointment typically includes a Biopsychosocial (BPS) assessment to understand your mental health history, challenges, and goals.
For medication management, the session includes a psychiatric evaluation to assess symptoms and determine treatment options.
Your provider will listen to your concerns, answer questions, and collaborate with you to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Do you offer medication during urgent care visits?

Yes. Medication may be prescribed following a psychiatric evaluation. Prescriptions are based on the provider’s clinical judgment and your health history to ensure appropriate treatment.

Who will I see at my appointment?

You will be seen by a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Physician Associate (PA-C), either in-person or virtually. All are trained and certified to provide psychiatric care and work closely with supervising psychiatrists (MDs) to coordinate treatment.

What Is A Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Physician Associate (PA-C)?

NPs and PA-Cs are licensed medical professionals with advanced degrees. They are trained to diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, provide therapy, and educate patients. They work in both primary and mental health care settings under the supervision of a physician.

Will I be seen in-person or virtually?

It depends on the type of appointment. Some services are virtual, while others are in-person. Please confirm the format when scheduling.
