Dr. Michael DeStefano, M.D., is the Medical Director at Mindful Care, ensuring consistent, high-quality, evidence-based mental health care across the organization. Holding Board Certification in Psychiatry & Neurology, and expertise in Interventional Psychiatry, he partners closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen clinical standards, care coordination, and patient outcomes.
In his role, Dr. DeStefano oversees clinical protocols and quality initiatives, supports provider development through continuing education and training programs, and promotes a compassionate, patient-centered model focused on outcomes. He also serves as a key clinical resource for complex needs of patients, guiding treatment planning and reinforcing safe, appropriate care delivery across services.
Mindful Care offers therapy (individual and group), medication management, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Under Dr. DeStefano’s clinical leadership, patients receive timely, personalized care for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and related behavioral health needs.
